Wheel Hub, Steering Knuckle Component Removal Note

  1. With a chisel inserted in the steering knuckle as shown in the figure, detach the shock absorber from the steering knuckle component.

    CAUTION:
    • The steering knuckle notch must not be enlarged over 2 mm {0.08 in}.
    • Be careful not to damage the shock absorber or projection A shown in the figure with the chisel.
