DTC U2100:00/U2101:00 [Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)]: Notes

DTC U2100:00, U2101:00 Configuration data not recorded
DETECTION CONDITION  U2100:00 (configuration not implement) 
  1. After switch the ignition to ON, DSC HU/CM detects that configuration is not implement

    U2101:00 (configuration data error) 

  2. After switch the ignition to ON, DSC HU/CM checks central configuration data which instrument cluster sends to CAN, and any of the following conditions is detected
    • Data sent from instrument cluster exceeds specification
    • Data sent from instrument cluster is within specification, however, the data and data stored in DSC HU/CM are incompatible
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
  • Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light.
  • Inhibits the TCS, DSC and brake assist controls.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Module configuration procedure is not done properly
  • Correct data cannot be received from instrument cluster
