Seat Cushion
- Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 1 min or more .
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front seat belt anchor cover. (passenger-side only) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. (passenger-side only) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the short connector.
- Verify that the continuity between the short connector terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the seat warmer unit. (See SEAT WARMER UNIT INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery positive voltage to short connector terminal 2A (wiring harness-side) and terminal 2B (wiring harness-side) to ground.
- While inspecting for voltage of the short connector, use a dryer to warm the thermostat of the seat warmer unit on seat cushion.
- Verify that the voltage at the short connector terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the seat warmer unit. (See SEAT WARMER UNIT INSTALLATION .)
