Seat Cushion

  1. Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
  2. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 1 min or more  .
  4. Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the front seat belt anchor cover. (passenger-side only) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. (passenger-side only) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Disconnect the short connector.

  8. Verify that the continuity between the short connector terminals is as indicated in the table.

  9. Apply battery positive voltage to short connector terminal 2A (wiring harness-side) and terminal 2B (wiring harness-side) to ground.
  10. While inspecting for voltage of the short connector, use a dryer to warm the thermostat of the seat warmer unit on seat cushion.

  11. Verify that the voltage at the short connector terminals is as indicated in the table.
