How to Activate Audio Panel Switch Inspection Mode

  1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
  2. Turn the audio unit power to ON.
  3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the PRESET 3 button for 0.5 s or more  .
  4. The audio panel switch inspection mode is now activated.
STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1
  • Activate the audio panel switch inspection mode.
  • Does buzzer sound when pressing each switch?
 Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the audio unit.
(See AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2 Does the audio system operate properly? Yes The system is normal.
No Verify the customer complaint and then go to the appropriate symptom troubleshooting procedure.
