- Sends an ambient temperature malfunction signal via CAN communication.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Ambient temperature sensor connector or terminals malfunction
- Ambient temperature sensor malfunction
- BCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal A-BCM terminal 1X
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal B-BCM terminal 1H
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal A-BCM terminal 1X
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal B-BCM terminal 1H
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal A-BCM terminal 1X
- Ambient temperature sensor terminal B-BCM terminal 1H
- BCM malfunction
