Diagnostic Procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY BCM DTCs Clear the DTC using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Go to Step 4.
2	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTIONING PART IS RAIN SENSOR Clear the DTC using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the rain sensor, then go to the next step. (See RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Go to Step 4.
3	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Clear the DTC using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the BCM, then go to the next step. (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
