DTC B1079:13 [BCM]: Notes

DTC B1079:13	Hood latch switch circuit malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION	Open circuit in hood latch switch circuit with the hood closed (hood latch switch on).
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION	Does not set the theft-deterrent system.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Hood latch switch connector or terminals malfunction Open circuit in wiring harness between hood latch switch terminal B and body ground Hood latch switch malfunction BCM connector or terminals malfunction Open circuit in wiring harness between hood latch switch terminal A and BCM terminal 1J BCM malfunction
