DTC B1051:11 [BCM]: Notes

DTC B1051:11 Windshield washer switch circuit malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Short to ground in windshield washer switch circuit with the windshield washer switch off.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
  • Operates the windshield washer motor.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Wiper and washer switch connector or terminals malfunction
  • Windshield washer switch malfunction
  • BCM connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between wiper and washer switch terminal C and BCM terminal 4P
  • BCM malfunction
