| FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION |
- Continues the windshield wiper INT/HI/LO operation.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Wiper and washer switch connector or terminals malfunction
- Windshield wiper switch malfunction
- BCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Wiper and washer switch terminal G-BCM terminal 4I
- Wiper and washer switch terminal I-BCM terminal 4J
- Wiper and washer switch terminal E-BCM terminal 4M
- BCM malfunction
