Drive Belt Tensioner: Testing and Inspection

DRIVE BELT AUTO TENSIONER INSPECTION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo]

1. Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2 and splash shield as a single unit. Aerodynamic Under Cover No. 2 Removal/Installation Splash Shield Removal/Installation

2. Remove the drive belt. Service and Repair

3. Verify that the drive belt auto tensioner moves smoothly in the operational direction.






- Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary. Procedures

4. Rotate the drive belt auto tensioner pulley by hand and verify that it rotates smoothly.

- Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary. Procedures

5. Install the drive belt. Service and Repair

6. Install the aerodynamic under cover No.2 and splash shield as a single unit. Aerodynamic Under Cover No. 2 Removal/Installation Splash Shield Removal/Installation
