DETECTION CONDITIONS & POSSIBLE CAUSES

MAP sensor circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from the MAP sensor If input the voltage is above 4.9 V
, the PCM determines that the MAP sensor circuit has a malfunction
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory

- MAP sensor connector or terminal malfunction
- PCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Short circuit in MAP sensor signal circuit and power supply circuit each other
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between MAP sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 2AG
- MAP sensor malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between MAP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2AV
- Open circuit in wiring harness between MAP sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 2AG
- PCM malfunction
