DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P1464:00	A/C demand out of self-test range
DETECTION CONDITION	The DTC sets when the PCM receives a request for A/C during the self-test.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	A/C or defrost on during self-test Communication error between PCM and climate control module Short to power supply between PCM terminal 1W and A/C relay A/C switch signal malfunction A/C relay malfunction PCM malfunction NOTE: If the A/C or defrost was on during self-test, turn the A/C or defrost off and repeat the self-test An A/C request to the PCM may come through the communication link or on a dedicated hardwire circuit from the A/C switch
