Diagnostic Procedure

1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE Perform the configuration for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION .) Clear DTCs using the M-MDS (See CLEARING DTC .) Inspect the SAS control module DTCs (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are DTC B00D5:55 displayed?	Yes	Perform the SAS control module configuration, then go to INSPECTION the next step (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT PAD INDICATOR Verify that the correct PAD indicator is assembled. PAD indicator assembly incorrect	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Replace the PAD indicator. (See PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) INDICATOR LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear DTCs using the M-MDS (See CLEARING DTC .) Inspect the SAS control module DTCs (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are DTC B00D5:55 displayed?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed
