Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	INSPECT DTCS IN SAS CONTROL MODULE Clear the DTC from the SAS control module memory using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Inspect the DTC from the SAS control module memory using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are DTC U0001:88, U0155:00 displayed?	Yes	Perform the applicable DTC inspection
1		No	Go to the next step
2	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER Verify that the correct instrument cluster is assembled. Instrument cluster assembly incorrect	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Replace the instrument cluster.
3	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER Perform the active command mode inspection for the instrument cluster using the WDS or equivalent. WL+IL Does the air bag system warning light illuminate?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the instrument cluster.
4	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC from the SAS control module memory using the M-MDS (See CLEARING DTC .) Inspect the DTC from the SAS control module memory using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are DTC U0001:88, U0155:00 displayed?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
