Key Interlock Solenoid Inspection

Disconnect the key interlock solenoid connector.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the column cover. See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
3. Disconnect the key interlock solenoid connector.

Verify the resistance between key interlock solenoid terminals A and B.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the steering lock. See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WITHOUT ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM] .
  Key interlock solenoid specification 22.95-28.05 ohms
