Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM PCM DTC INSPECTION Perform the PCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [L5] .) (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [MZI-3.7] .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection (See DTC TABLE [L5] ) (See DTC TABLE [MZI-3.7] .)
1		No	Go to the next step
2	PERFORM BCM DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC using the M-MDS (See CLEARING DTC [BCM] ) Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the PCM, then go to the next step (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] ) (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .)
2		No	Go to Step 4.
3	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Clear the DTC using the M-MDS (See CLEARING DTC [BCM] ) Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM] ) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1 If the malfunction recurs, replace the BCM, then go to the next step (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection (See DTC TABLE [BCM] )
4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed
