DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Trunk lid latch switch circuit malfunction |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Short to ground detected in trunk lid latch switch circuit with the trunk closed (trunk lid latch switch off)

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Trunk lid latch switch malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between trunk lid latch switch terminal C and BCM terminal 6C
- Short to ground in wiring harness between trunk compartment light terminal B and BCM terminal 6C
- BCM malfunction
