DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Trunk lid opener switch (vehicle exterior) circuit malfunction |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Short to ground detected in trunk lid opener switch (vehicle exterior) circuit with the ignition switch ON
|
| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Trunk lid opener switch (vehicle exterior) malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between trunk lid opener switch (vehicle exterior) terminal B and BCM terminal 6E
- Short to ground in wiring harness between keyless control module terminal 3G and BCM terminal 6E
- Keyless control module malfunction
- BCM malfunction
