Rear Upper Arm Bushing Installation Note

Mark the new bushing as shown in the figure.

Set the bushing to the rear upper arm as shown in the figure.

Press the bushing in to the marking using the SSTs.
Substitution SST
- 49 E028 302
  Outer diameter: 36.8-38.8 mm {1.45-1.52 in}
  
  Inner diameter: 24 mm {0.94 in} or more
  
  Height: 32 mm {1.3 in} or more
- 49 B034 202A
  Outer diameter: 46 mm {1.8 in} or more
  
  Inner diameter: 42 mm {1.7 in} or more
  
  Plate thickness: 1 mm {0.04 in} or more

Verify that clearance distance A-B is 7.7-8.9 mm {0.31-0.35 in}.
