Tie rod inspection

- Inspect the tie rod for bending and damage. Replace it if necessary.
- Inspect the ball joint for looseness. Replace the tie rod if necessary.
- Swing the tie rod five times.
- Measure the swinging torque using a pull scale.

0.4-4.0 N.m {4.1-40 kgf.cm, 3.6-35 in.lbf}
[Pull scale reading: 20-200 N {2.1-20.3 kgf, 4.5-44.9 lbf}]
- If not within the specification, replace the tie rod.
