Oil Seal (cylinder end side), Steering Rack Disassembly Note

Set the SST to the gear housing as shown in the figure.
Move the steering rack towards the oil seal (cylinder end side) until it stops.

Remove the oil seal (cylinder end side) and the steering rack from the gear housing using the SSTs and a press.
CAUTION:
- If the oil seal (cylinder end side) drops off, the steering rack could also fall off and be damaged. Put a mat under the steering rack to protect it from being damaged.
