On-Vehicle Inspection

Disconnect the coupler component connector.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .)
3. Disconnect the coupler component connector

Measure the resistance between the coupler component terminal E and H.

If there is any malfunction, replace the coupler component (See TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL] )
