DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P0706:00	TR switch circuit range/performance
DETECTION CONDITION	TCM detects stuck TR switch when ignition switch is ON. Diagnostic support note: The MIL illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle. The AT warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle. PENDING CODE is not available. FREEZE FRAME DATA is available. The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
