Hood latch

Open the hood.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (vehicles with theft-deterrent system)

Remove the bolts.
Remove the hood latch

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the hood. (See HOOD ADJUSTMENT .)
