Resistance Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable
  2. Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] ).
  3. Disconnect the throttle body connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between throttle body terminals A and B.

    Throttle actuator resistance 

    1-900 ohms [20°C {68°F}]
