Drive Belt Auto TENSIONER Inspection [MZI-3.7]

Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .)
Remove the front wheel and tire (RH). (See GENERAL PROCEDURES (SUSPENSION) .)
Remove the splash shield (RH).
Remove the generator and A/C drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .)
Verify that the drive belt auto tensioner moves smoothly in the operational direction.
- Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary.
  Tightening torque
  
  9-12 N.m {92-122 kgf.cm, 80-106 in.lbf}

Turn the drive belt auto tensioner pulley by hand and verify that it rotates smoothly.

- Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary.
  Tightening torque
  
  9-12 N.m {92-122 kgf.cm, 80-106 in.lbf}
Install in the reverse order of removal.
