Variable Tumble Shutter Valve Actuator Inspection [L5]

- Remove the air hose. See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the variable tumble shutter valve actuator.
- Connect a vacuum pump to the variable tumble shutter valve actuator.
- Apply vacuum and verify that the rod moves.
- If the rod does not move, replace the intake manifold. See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .
