Vehicles With Auto Light/Wiper System

Remove the rain sensor. (See RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Make a tool as shown in the figure using wire.
CAUTION:
- Using the tool with bare hands can cause injury. Always wear gloves when using the tool.
- To prevent damage to the lens, do not use a flathead screwdriver.

Push the wire in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

Insert a tool into the position shown in the figure and release the tab in the direction of the arrow.
CAUTION:
- Perform the procedure while being careful not to damage the lens.

Pull the rearview mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it.
CAUTION:
- When removing the rearview mirror, it may hit the headliner and cause a damage. Hold the rearview mirror with hands and be careful not to contact it with the headliner.
