PINPOINT TEST 2: THE CONTROL ILLUMINATION IS ALWAYS ON - ALL HARDWIRED ILLUMINATION

Normal Operation

The smart junction box (SJB) then supplies a pulse-width modulated (PWM) voltage signal to the dimmable illumination sources on circuit (V/GY).

- DTC B2A32 (LED Backlighting Output Circuit Open) - an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects a short to voltage on the LED backlighting output circuit.

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- SJB

Diagnostic Procedure

CAUTION:Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
