Down Switch Inspection: Notes

CAUTION:

Water or foreign objects entering the connector cart cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.

Disconnect the selector lever component connector.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear console. (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

Measure the continuity between selector lever component terminate C and H.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the selector lever component. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
