Clutch Pedal Disengagement Point
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Apply the parking brake and fix the front and rear of the wheels with the wheel chocks.
- Start the engine.
- With the clutch pedal depressed, move the shift lever to the position just before engaging the reverse gear. (Do not shift completely to reverse position)
- Gradually release the clutch pedal and then hold it at the point where the sound of gear-grinding begins (clutch disengagement point).
- Measure distance A from the clutch disengagement point to the position where the pedal has returned completely (not depressed), and verify that the measurement is within the specification.
- If distance A, distance B or the clutch pedal full stroke is out of specification, adjust the pedal height or the clutch pedal free play to specification.
