Clutch Disc Inspection

1. Refer to CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  to remove the clutch disc.
2. Using vernier calipers, measure the thickness of the lining at a rivet head on both sides.
   • If it less than the minimum specification, replace the clutch disc. (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

   Minimum clutch disc thickness 

   0.3 mm {0.01 in}

3. Measure the clutch disc runout using a dial indicator.

• If it exceeds the maximum specification, replace the clutch disc. (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

0.7 mm {0.03 in}
