Water Pump Removal / Installation - 2.3L

Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. See Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe Removal / Installation - 2.3L .
Drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 2.3L .
Remove the drive belt. See Drive Belt Removal / Installation - 2.3L .
Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.

Remove the bolts and the water pump.

NOTE:
- Lubricate the water pump O-ring with clean engine coolant.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
