Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe Removal / Installation - 2.3L

  1. Disconnect the battery. See Battery Disconnect .
  2. Remove the accelerator control splash shield.

  3. Disconnect the electrical harness push pins, the brake booster vacuum hose and the crankcase ventilation tube quick connect coupling.

  4. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and the air cleaner outlet pipe.

    Tightening torque: 3 Nm {0.3 kgf-m, 27 in-lbf} 

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
