Water Pump Removal / Installation - 2.3L

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. See Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe Removal / Installation - 2.3L .
2. Drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 2.3L  .
3. Remove the drive belt. See Drive Belt Removal / Installation - 2.3L .
4. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.

5. Remove the bolts and the water pump.

   NOTE:

   • Lubricate the water pump O-ring with clean engine coolant.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
