Pinpoint Test 2

PINPOINT TEST 2: THE STOPLAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

Normal Operation
When the brake pedal is applied, the voltage is routed to the high mounted stoplamp and the multifunction switch through circuit (V/W). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage to the LH and RH rear lamps through circuits (V) and (Y), respectively. Voltage to the LH and RH rear lamps also routes through the battery junction box (BJB) fuses 42 (7.5 A) and 38 (7.5 A) to circuits (Y) and (G), respectively, for the trailer tow lamps.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Stoplamp switch
- Multifunction switch
