Pinpoint Test 3

PINPOINT TEST 3: THE CLIMATE CONTROL ILLUMINATION IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
Variable voltage is supplied to the climate control function selector switch assembly from the instrument panel dimmer switch on circuit (L/W). The climate control function selector switch assembly is grounded through circuit (B/Y).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Climate control function selector switch assembly

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
