Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Testing and Inspection

CLOCK SPRING INSPECTION

1. Remove the clock spring.
2. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

- It not as indicated in the table, replace the clock spring.

NOTE
- When the vehicle-side connector to the clock spring is disconnected, terminals 1 A, 1 B, 1 C and 1 D are shorted to prevent unexpected operation (deployment) to the air bag module.
