Removal Note

  1. Remove the rear propeller shaft. See PROPELLER SHAFT REAR (4X2) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION or PROPELLER SHAFT REAR (4WD) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the transmission mount nuts.

  3. Raise and support the transmission.

  4. Remove the transmission mount.
    1. Remove the transmission mount-to-extension housing bolts.
    2. Remove the transmission mount.
