Automatic Transmission Cooler Tubes 3.0L/4.0L Removal / Installation: Installation

  1. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes and bracket onto the engine.
    • Tighten to 20 Nm {2.0 kgf-m, 15 lb-ft}.
  2. Connect the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes to the transmission.
    • Tighten to 28 Nm {2.9 kgf-m, 21 lb-ft}.
  3. Connect the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler hoses and clamps to the transmission fluid cooler inlet and lower inlet tubes.
  4. Connect the transmission fluid cooler lower inlet and outlet tubes to the radiator.
