Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the parking brake control. See PARKING BRAKE CONTROL  . Disconnect the front cable from the parking brake control. Compress the front cable parking brake control clip. See Figure .
  2. Remove the front cable from parking brake control. Disconnect front cable from frame mounting bracket. Disconnect front cable from intermediate cable. Remove front cable. To install reverse removal procedure. Make sure cable is routed through loop on takeup spool. See Fig 1 .
