Detection Condition

- DTC P0102 indicates MAF signal was less then 0.23 volt sometime during normal engine operation or KOER self-test.
- DTC P0103 indicates MAF signal was more than 4.60 volts sometime during normal engine operation or KOER self-test.
- DTC P1100 indicates MAF signal was less than 0.23 volt during KOEO self-test or more than 4.6 volts during the last 40 warm-up cycles.
- DTC P1101 indicates MAF signal was more than 0.27 volt during KOEO self-test or signal was not 0.46-2.44 volts during KOER self-test.
Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor measures amount of engine incoming air. Sensor outputs an analog voltage signal to PCM. PCM uses signal to calculate required fuel injector pulse width. Input is also used to determine transmission electronic pressure control, shift and torque converter clutch control.
