Engine Mount LH Removal / Installation - 3.0L: Installation

All vehicles 

  1. Position the engine support insulator.

    4WD vehicles

  2. Install the engine support insulator nut.

    Tightening Torque 103 Nm {10.5 kgf-m, 76 ft-lbf}

  3. Raise the front axle into place and install the 3 front axle mounting bolts.

    Tightening Torque 66 Nm {6.7 kgf-m, 49 ft-lbf}

  4. Remove the jack.

    CAUTION:
    • Remove the tape applied during removal.
  5. Align the index marks and install new front driveshaft straps and bolts.

    Tightening Torque 19 Nm {1.9 kgf-m, 14 ft-lbf} 

    2WD vehicles

  6. Install the engine support insulator nut.

    Tightening Torque 103 Nm {10.5 kgf-m, 76 ft-lbf} 

    All vehicles 

  7. Lower the engine and remove the three-bar engine support SST  .

  8. Install the engine support insulator nuts.

    Tightening Torque 109 Nm {11.1 kgf-m, 80 ft-lbf} 

  9. Remove the lifting eyes SST  .
  10. Install the fan blade. See COOLING FAN AND CLUTCH REMOVAL / INSTALLATION -- 3.0L .
  11. Install the hood.
  12. Connect the battery.
