Removal Note

CAUTION:
- Do not use oil or grease-based lubricants on the isolators. These lubricants may cause deterioration of the rubber. This can lead to separation of the isolator from the exhaust hanger bracket during vehicle operation.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) and catalyst monitor sensor electrical connectors.
- Remove the exhaust down pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly bolts.
- Remove the exhaust manifold-to-exhaust down pipe assembly bolts.
- Remove the transmission mount and isolator-to-transmission bolt and remove the exhaust down pipe.
