Oil Level Indicator And Tube Removal / Installation - 2.3L

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING , .

Remove the oil level indicator and the upper retaining bolt.

Remove the oil level indicator tube.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the oil level indicator tube.

Remove the O-ring from the indicator ring.
NOTE:
- Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring before installation of the indicator tube.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
