Oil Level Indicator And Tube Removal / Installation - 2.3L

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING , .

  2. Remove the oil level indicator and the upper retaining bolt.

  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
    • Remove the bolt.
    • Remove the oil level indicator tube.

  4. Remove the O-ring from the indicator ring.
    NOTE:
    • Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring before installation of the indicator tube.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
