Heater Core

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 3.0L  .
    NOTE:
    • See the cooling system flusher manufacturer's operating instructions for specific vehicle hook-up. Use an appropriate cooling system flusher to back flush the heater core.
  2. Flush the heater core. Use premium cooling system flush VC-1.
  3. Fill the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 3.0L  .
