Bypass Tube Removal / Installation - 3.0L

NOTE:

The bypass tube and the lower radiator hose are a molded one-piece assembly.

Drain the engine coolant from the radiator. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 3.0L .
Remove the coolant bypass hose from the water pump.

Remove the lower radiator hose.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant and bleed the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 3.0L .
