Disassembly Note

- Use a suitable ring expander to remove piston rings to prevent damage.
- Remove the top compression ring.
- Remove the second compression ring.
- Remove the first oil control ring.
- Remove the oil control spacer ring.
- Remove the second oil control ring.
- Take note of piston connecting rod assembly and mark the connecting rod and the piston to ensure proper orientation during reassembly.
- Use a suitable piston pin tool to press the piston pin out of the piston connecting rod assembly.
- Remove the connecting rod from the piston.
- Clean and inspect the connecting rod and the piston. Refer to PISTON INSPECTION and CONNECTING ROD INSPECTION .
