Removal & Installation (Miata, Millenia 2.3L, MPV & Protege)

On Miata, camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is located on rear of cylinder head. On Millenia 2.3L, MPV and Protege, Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is located on front of cylinder head. To remove, disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect sensor connector. Remove hold-down bolt. Remove sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt to specification.
