Removal and Installation

Fig 1: Removing Screws For Positioning Hood Release Handle Aside

Remove the 2 screws and position the hood release handle aside.

Remove the 2 screws from the steering column opening panel.
Remove the steering column opening panel from the retainers and remove the panel.

Remove the instrument panel steering column opening cover reinforcement.
1. Remove the 5 bolts.
  Tightening Torque: 8 Nm {0.8 kgf-m, 71 lb-in}
2. Remove the reinforcement.
Remove the instrument panel center finish panel. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CENTER FINISH PANEL .

Remove the 4 upper screws from the instrument cluster finish panel.

Remove the 2 lower screws from the instrument cluster finish panel.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
